Our first wedding of 2026 - A heartfelt celebration filled with family & love!

There is something undeniably magical bout an intimate wedding especially when it takes place at a private residence surrounded by the quiet beauty of rural Louisiana. Leah + Jody's wedding in Loranger, LA was the perfect way to begin our 2026 season - warm, meaningful, family-centered and overflowing with genuine love.

The day began with a moment that will stay with us forever: Jody's first look at Leah shared with Leah's son. This sweet twist captured exactly what this wedding was all about - the blending of a FAMILY.

Her son's excited smile, Jody's reaction, and the love between them all set the tone for the entire evening. It wa sure, heartfelt joy...the kind of moment we live to photograph. 

We took advantage of the soft evening light to capture all family portraits. Having portraits done beforehand also allowed Leah + Jody to be fully present with their guests immediately after saying "I DO", which made fthe pace of the evening even sweeter.

Their ceremony took place in the "barn" surrounded by loved ones in a setting the felt so peaceful. The rustic charm lent itself so nicely to her wedding colors. 

As Leah + Jody exchanged vows, it was clear that this was more than a wedding day, it was the beginning of a beautifully blended family and a love story rooted in gratitude and connection. 

Being part of Leah + Jody's wedding day was the perfect kick-off to our year. There's something incredibly special about intimate celebrations - the laughter, the closeness, the focus on what truly matters.
