Looking Back: Kellie + Bo's April Wedding

As I reflect on the weddings that have left a lasting imprint on my heart, Kellie and Bo’s wedding in April 2012 stands out as one of those truly timeless celebrations. It was a day filled with tradition, elegance, and joy — the kind of Southern wedding that reminds you how meaningful this work really is.

Their ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula, a space rich with history and reverence. Watching Kellie walk down the aisle in her beautiful gown, sunlight streaming through the stained-glass windows, was such a powerful moment. Bo’s face said it all — the love, the anticipation, the promise of forever.

After the ceremony, guests gathered at Chesterton Square, a beloved venue nestled in the heart of Downtown Ponchatoula. The reception was everything a Southern celebration should be: warm, welcoming, and full of life. From heartfelt toasts to joyful dancing, the energy was electric and the love in the room was unmistakable.

Looking back, what strikes me most about Kellie and Bo’s wedding is how beautifully it captured who they are — grounded in faith, surrounded by family, and full of joy for the future. It’s been over a decade since they said “I do,” and I still remember the sweet moments we captured like it was yesterday.

Kellie and Bo, thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day all those years ago. It was an honor then — and a joy to reflect on now. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
